Hyperion Robotics is exploring sites in the Midlands and the north of England to set up its first UK facility, which will also serve as the company’s headquarters for northern European operations
The Helsinki-based startup produces Eurocode-compliant reinforced concrete structures using 3D printing technology.

Hyperion already has British involvement in its leadership team: its vice president of operations former Keltbray managing director John Price, while former Kier managing director Barry McNicholas is an advisor.
Hyperion’s expansion follows a series of projects across Europe, where the company has partnered with prominent names like Iberdrola, Yorkshire Water and Mott MacDonald Bentley with projects including energy plant foundations to water treatment facilities.
As previously reported, it supplied ‘printed’ concrete drawpits for Yorkshire Water’s Esholt sewage works near Bradford in 2023.
