RLB has appointed Shirin Hashemi as chief financial officer UK & Europe, succeeding retiring finance director Stuart Stables.
Hashemi previously held senior executive roles with Ankura Consulting and BDO. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
The handover comes after a year that saw 30% growth for RLB UK, with turnover reaching £170m for the year to April 2025 (2024: £150m) – its fifth consecutive year of growth.
Andrew Reynolds, chief executive of RLB UK and Europe, said: “First, I want to thank Stuart Stables for his 35 years’ worth of dedication, commitment and expertise at RLB. He has played a pivotal role in shaping RLB’s financial future and helped us evolve from a regional consultancy into a globally recognised independent built environment solution provider today.
“Second, I am delighted to welcome Shirin to the team and am excited about the key contribution she will make as we continue our growth journey.”
